On behalf of our key client, a major player in the video, streaming and gaming industry, we are seeking a thoughtful Sr. JavaScript/Node Developer to help shape the future of tools for storytellers.

This client is at the heart of the digital entertainment ecosystem, responsible for a critical enterprise platform that hosts back-office applications and manages the internal libraries powering a vast range of high-volume services and client applications.

In this role as a Senior Frontend UX Engineer (JavaScript/Node.js), you will be instrumental in developing and enhancing the essential tools used by teams across the organization. Your work will directly impact applications like the Command Center and related micro-frontends, as well as systems for Content Management (CMS), Media Asset Management (MAM), and Revenue.

What You'll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality, reusable React components and web components within a modern, responsive frontend architecture.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and designs into functional, performant, and accessible user interfaces.
• Actively participate in design and architecture discussions for new features and services, providing realistic effort estimates during planning cycles.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (including unit tests) and conduct thoughtful code reviews to uphold team best practices.
• Prototype and integrate with AWS cloud services (like S3, Lambda, ECS) to build scalable and resilient solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed team members across Product, Program Management, and QA.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves):

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a deep focus on JavaScript and Node.js.
• A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with each of the following:
• Building applications with React (or similar framework) and TypeScript.
• Developing highly scalable, performant, and responsive web applications.
• Deploying and building applications in a cloud environment, preferably AWS/GCP.
• Strong familiarity with the frontend ecosystem: Redux, npm, Git, RESTful APIs, and modern development tools.
• A solid understanding of core frontend principles: component lifecycle, hooks, and state management.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work successfully within a distributed team.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience with Web Components and Lit HTML.
• Knowledge of Go Lang or experience with micro-frontends.
• Background in VOD Streaming or the media industry.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Kubernetes).
• Contributions to or experience with a component design system.
